Dear friend,
You are cordially invited to attend 7th Commemoration of Depaeyin Massacre.
Background story of Depaeyin Massacre
The Depayin Massacre occurred on 30 May 2003, when at least 70 people associated with the National League for Democracy were killed by a premeditated government-sponsored mob in Burma attacking Aung San Suu Kyi's convoy when she was last free from detention. Despite the NLD and Aung San Suu Kyi being the victim of the attack, it was Aung San Suu Kyi who was placed in detention after the Massacre and still remains detained since then.
